Organisers claim new naked bodies world record in Cork

An unusual world record breaking attempt in Cork has been successful, according to its organiser.

Three hundred and sixteen people had their naked bodies painted in a City Centre Arts venue.

It beats a figure of 264 set in New York five years ago.

The Cork group filled four rooms in the Camden Palace Hotel.

There were two independent witnesses and their paperwork will be sent to Guinness World Records for approval.
