Etihad chief reiterates interest in Aer Lingus
The president and CEO of Etihad Airways says there will be developments in the coming weeks in connection to it's relationship with Aer Lingus.
James Hogan was speaking in London yesterday when he reiterated his airline's interest in the Irish government's 25% stake in Aer Lingus, which it plans to sell off.
In an interview with Air Transport World, Hogan said Etihad - which bought a stake of just under 35 in Aer Lingus earlier this year - hasn't been approached about the sale and wouldn't comment further until it's been timetabled.
The CEO also told the magazine that Etihad's Abu Dhabi to Dublin route has been "very successful".
