Man broke into woman's home and raped her in daughter's bedroom

A burglar who sexually assaulted a woman in her daughter’s bedroom and punched her until she played dead has today been given a 10-year sentence.

Lithuanian Andrius Pranaitis (25) of Dromin Road, Nenagh, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to attempted oral rape, aggravated sexual assault and burglary in Co. Tipperary on August 14, 2011.
