Man dies in Dublin crash

A 20-year-old man has died following a road crash in Darndale in Dublin this afternoon.

It happened after the motorbike he was driving collided with a car on the Priorswood Road at about a 3.45pm this afternoon.

His 28-year-old pillion passenger is being treated for serious injuries at Beaumount Hospital.

The female driver of the car was uninjured.

The Priorswood Road remains closed to traffic pending a technical examination.
