Cannabis seized in Cork

Gardaí in Cork have seized €120,000 worth of cannabis, it has been revealed.

Six kilos of the drug was seized by Gardaí when they stopped and searched a car yesterday evening at Pouladuff Road in Ballyphehane.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

He was questioned at Togher Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, and later released without charge.
