Parents of special-needs children in Dáil protest

Parents of children with special needs are taking to the streets of Dublin this evening to protest against a new range of cutbacks planned for the new school year.

The Alliance Against Cuts in Education called the reduction in the number of Special Needs Assistants next year "an abuse" of their children's human rights.
