100 e-voting machines to be sold for charity
One hundred of the controversial e-voting machines are to be sold off for charity.
The MD of KMK recycling, Kurt Kyck first proposed the idea last week after he bought the equipment from the government for €70,000.
The company is due to collect the first batch of machines in Co Wexford this morning. In total, they will process around 7,500 of them.
Most will be broken down for recycling, but the proceeds from the sales of 100 will go to Barretstown, which works with seriously ill children.
