Explosive device made safe in Dublin

A viable explosive device has been made safe in Dublin this evening.

It was found on waste ground near a residential area in the Belcamp Lane area of Darndale at about 6pm.

The device was removed from the scene - without a controlled explosion, and it iss now being examined.
