Dáil committee seeks more VAT-returns information from Wallace

The Dáil members' interests committee is seeking more information from Mick Wallace about his admission of underpaying VAT.

The committee - which met in private again today - looked at correspondence from the Wexford TD which it requested at its last meeting a week ago.

In a statement, it said it needed further clarification on Deputy Wallace's response, but hopes to be able to conclude its inquiries on the matter next week.
