Sexual assault case hears conflicting medical evidence

The trial of a man, who claims his cholesterol medication caused him to sexually assault a woman, has today heard conflicting medical evidence about the effects the drug can have.

The accused has pleaded not guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to the sexual assault of the 27-year-old woman in the early hours of October 3, 2010.
