Cannabis worth €640,000 seized in Galway

€640,000 worth of cannabis has been seized by Gardaí in Galway.

Over 800 plants and various growing equipment was discovered when Gardaí raided a property at Clovewood, Derrylissane, Menlough at around 2pm this afternoon.

One man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene.

He is currently being questioned by Gardaí at Mill Street Garda Station.
