Man dies in Galway road accident

A 24-year-old man has died in a crash in Co Galway.

His car left the road and hit a ditch at Derrymore, Dunmore at 11.40pm last night.

The road has been closed for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them in Tuam on 093 70840.
