There has been a 10% increase in the number of reported cases of sexually transmitted infections, according to a new study.

There has been a 10% increase in the number of reported cases of sexually transmitted infections, according to a new study.

The research by the Dublin AIDS Alliance revealed that more than 12,000 cases of STIs were recorded here last year, an increase of 10% over 2009 figures.

This new study has been released to coincide with Irish Aids Day.
