Trial of de Rossa son begins in Dublin

A jury has been sworn in to try the son of former Labour MEP Proinsías de Rossa for an attack on his father.

Fearghal de Rossa from the Old Finglas Road in Dublin is accused of assault causing harm on November 11 last year.

The trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court is to start this afternoon, and is due to conclude tomorrow.
