Gardaí are investigating the death of a 52-year-old man found in the centre of Portlaoise in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are investigating the death of a 52-year-old man found in the centre of Portlaoise in the early hours of this morning.

The man was discovered at around 3.20am lying unconscious at Market Square in the town.
