Traffic warning for east Cork motorists

Gardaí are advising motorists in Cork that the east bound lanes of the N25 are currently closed to traffic between Carrigtwohill and Midleton after a serious collision.

Gardaí are at the scene and diversions are in place.

Motorists are advised to divert via Carrigtwohill village or the Fota Road.

6.30pm update: The N25 has fully re-opened to traffic.

Gardaí are continuing to advise motorists accross the country to exercise extreme caution given the prevailing weather conditions.
