Man charged with mother's nursing-home murder

A 45-year-old man has been remanded in custody after he was charged with the murder of his mother in a nursing home in Co Waterford earlier this year.

Gerard Bollrath had previously been charged with the manslaughter of his 83-year-old mother Veronica at Killure Bridge Nursing Home in Co Waterford on January 9 last.
