Couple killed in Cork crash named

The elderly couple killed in a two car crash in Co Cork yesterday evening have been named by gardaí.

Robert Condon, aged 79 and his wife, Mary, aged 81 from Midleton were fatally injured in the collision.

The accident happened at around 6.30pm yesterday on the main Cork to Macroom road near Lissarda.

Two women in their 30s and two children were travelling in the second car. All four escaped with minor injuries.
