Smokers urged to use Twitter to quit
Smokers are being encouraged to turn to Twitter to help them quit smoking.
It is World 'No Tobacco' day, and the Irish Heart Foundation and Pfizer Healthcare have launched the hash tag "Qweet With Help" campaign.
They want smokers to use Twitter as a support group and rather than reach for a cigarette, reach for their smartphone instead.
In return, €1 will be donated to the Irish Heart Foundation every time a tweet is tagged with the "Qweet With Help" hashtag.
