It is hoped a Formula 1 racing event in Dublin over this bank holiday weekend will bring in €10m for businesses in the capital.

Bavaria City Racing Dublin, which is a free event, is expected to attract 100,000 visitors into the city centre over its five hours.

According to Fáilte Ireland, the event will lead directly to 750 temporary jobs on the day in areas including hospitality, catering and health and safety.

Former Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button's appearance in his McLaren F1 car is set to be the highlight of the event this Sunday.

Just come back to the sit at the weekend and you'll see the blog. Happy festival-ing![/comment]
