Gardaí have confirmed a woman has come forward to help in their investigation into another woman's death in Dublin at the weekend.

Gardaí have confirmed a woman has come forward to help in their investigation into another woman's death in Dublin at the weekend.

The body of 51 -year-old Phyllis Black was found at an apartment in the north inner city on Sunday afternoon.

Gardaí believe she may have been involved in an assault in the early hours of that morning.

A woman presented herself at Store Street garda station yesterday, it has emerged.

A post mortem is being carried out on Ms Black's remains today, and Gardaí are continuing their appeal for information.
