Woman to appear in court in connection with Waterford death

A woman is due to appear in court this morning in connection with the death of Joe O'Brien in Waterford City on Monday.
The 38-year-old, arrested in the city yesterday, will appear at Waterford District Court at 10.30am this morning charged in relation to the death of Mr O' Brien.
Two others have already been charged in connection with the death of the 60-year-old, whose body was as discovered at a ground floor apartment at Scotch Marsh House on Scotch Quay on Monday.
A post-mortem revealed he died as a result of injuries to the head.
Michelle Hynes (aged 39), of no fixed abode, was charged with assault causing harm at a sitting of Waterford District Court yesterday morning.
She was remanded in custody to appear before the court again next week.
No application for bail was made, however legal aid was granted.
Pat Keating (aged 47) with an address at Moyne House on Grattan Quay, Waterford, was also charged with assault causing serious harm, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He was remanded in custody to appear before the court again on May 1.
