IMPACT union urges 'Yes' vote in Fiscal Compact referendum

The country's second largest trade union IMPACT has said it is recommending its members vote 'Yes' in the Fiscal Treaty referendum next month.

The union's executive met today and has issued the recommendation, saying a 'No' vote could result in a lack of money for social welfare benefits, pensions and even the pay packets of public sector workers.
