Two questioned in connection with Waterford killing

Two people remain in Garda custody overnight in connection with the killing of a 60-year-old man in Waterford City.

Joe O'Brien was found at Scotch Marsh House on Scotch Quay in the city on Monday night.

The inquiry was upgraded to murder after a post mortem showed he died from head injuries.

A 47 -year-old man and 39-year-old woman are being questioned.
