German police mistake actor for thief

Police in Germany have arrested an actor who was pretending to be a jewel thief.

Aaron Defant was mistakenly identified as the culprit in Stuttgart after a member of the public watched a re-enactment of the crime on 'Aktenzeichen XY' five weeks earlier, The Local reports.
