Oireachtas Sub-Committee to debate Fiscal Treaty

A group of experts, including Irish MEPs and EU ambassadors, will begin a week-long debate on the Fiscal Treaty today.

It is being hosted by the newly-established Oireachtas Sub-Committee on the EU Fiscal Treaty.

Elsewhere, the treaty will also be discussed by the executive council of the Irish Farmers' Association.

The IFA will then make a recommendation to its 90,000 members on how to vote in the upcoming referendum.
