Gardaí continue to question man in connection with €6.5m drugs haul

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question one man in relation to a massive drugs bust yesterday.

An estimated €6.5m worth of herbal cannabis and cannabis resin were uncovered when Gardaí carried out raids in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin and Newbridge in Co. Kildare.

Two men, aged 36 and 43, were arrested and Gardaí have since released without charge the older man.

A file is being prepared for the DPP and the 36-year-old remains in custody at Clondalkin Garda Station.
