Helicopter plucks walker from Howth cliffs

A woman who got into difficulties while walking at cliffs near Howth, Co Dublin this morning has been rescued by helicopter, Coast Guard officers said.

The woman in her 50s had been descending a cliff path to the shoreline shortly before 10am when she got stuck 20ft down a steep embankment, Howth Coast Guard said.
