Explosive devices made safe in Dublin and Leitrim
Two explosive devices have been made safe in Dublin and Leitrim.
In the capital, an army bomb disposal team was deployed to deal with a suspect device outside a private residence in Tallaght at about 12.30am.
A controlled explosion was carried out and the scene was declared safe at 3.40am.
Meanwhile a controlled explosion was also carried out in Leitrim yesterday evening after a WWI-era grenade was found in a garden in Manorhamilton.
