Man dies after being struck by mini-bus

A 27-year-old man has died after a car crash in Co. Louth overnight.

The incident happened on the R176 at the Liberties in Carlingford at 2.45am when a mini-bus struck a pedestrian.

He died at the scene.

The road is closed pending a Garda forensic examination and diversions are in place.
