Application to access Bailey diaries to be heard in private

A District Court judge has today ruled that an application on behalf of the French authorities to access Ian Bailey's personal diaries is to be heard in private.

Investigators in France have requested access to the journals as part of its investigation into the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier in West Cork in 1996.
