€35m allocated to replace rented prefabs in schools

Almost 200 schools will be this year be offered grants to build permanent classrooms replacing rented prefabs, it was announced today.

A total of €35m has been allocated for this initiative in 2012, Education Minister Ruairi Quinn said.
