A retired Bishop has said too much is being made of the closure of the Irish embassy at the Vatican.

Willie Walsh, a former Bishop of Killaloe, was reacting to a survey of Catholic Priests which found a majority of them feel the reputations of all clergy have been damaged in the wake of clerical abuse scandals.
