Hundreds attend removal of Florence Noonan
Hundreds of people in Limerick city are attending the removal of Florence Noonan, the late wife of Minister for Finance Michael Noonan.
Flor, as she was affectionately known, passed away two nights ago surrounded by her family, after suffering a long-term illness.
The 68-year-old, who had suffered a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease, died after contracting pneumonia two weeks ago.
Politicians from all sides of the house, senior gardaÃ, and stars from the small screen are currently paying their respects to the former school teacher, who was a key political campaigner for her husband before been struck by illness.
