City council clears Cork city oil spill

The council has finished treating a fuel spillage in Cork city this morning.

The spill stretched from the North Ring Rd through the city centre and out onto the N27 South City Link Rd to Airport Hill and Fivemilebridge.

AA Roadwatch is advising motorists that continued care is needed along the route as conditions remain wet.
