A Pakistani man who is owed €92,000 by a Dublin take-away where he used to work is to stage a protest later demanding his due.

58-year-old Muhammad Younis was employed at Poppadom Takeaway in Clondalkin between 2002 and 2009 where he was paid 55 cent an hour for working 77-hour weeks.

Last September, the Labour Court ruled that the owner of Poppadom Take Away, Amjad Hussein, should pay Mr Younis €92,000 in compensation.

Gráinne O'Toole from the Migrants Rights Centre said Mr Younis had to endure degrading labour conditions for many years.
