Two for court in connection with death of Oughterard publican

Two men are due to appear in court this morning in connection with the death of a man in Galway last year.

John Kenny, aged 56, was found dead at his pub in Oughterard on September 25 last.

A post mortem showed he had been assaulted.

Two men aged 17 and 36 were arrested last night in Cork city and brought to Mill Street Garda station in Galway city for questioning.

They are due to appear at Galway District Court shortly.

Seven previous arrests have been made in relation to this investigation.
