Mobile providers 'incorrectly charging VAT' on charity texts

Mobile phone providers have been incorrectly charging VAT on charitable donations made via text message, it has been revealed.

Finance Minister Michael Noonan made the revelation in the Dáil, in response to a parliamentary question made by Fianna Fáil TD Eamon O'Cuiv.
