Two men in their twenties are due in court in Limerick, in connection with the death of Ger McMahon.

The 43-year-old died after being stabbed in on Lenihan Avenue in the city on January 18.

Meanwhile, a third man who was also questioned over the killing was yesterday released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
