Three arrested in connection with Limerick killing
Three men have today been arrested by gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Limerick last week.
Ger McMahon, 43, suffered multiple stab wounds during an incident outside a house on Lenihan Avenue in the city on January 18.
Two of the men, aged in their 20s, were detained this afternoon in the Limerick area and are being held at Roxboro Road and Mayorstone garda stations.
Another man in his 30s, who was arrested yesterday in the Limerick area, is being questioned at Bruff garda station.
It brings to six the number of people detained in relation to Ger McMahon's murder.
