Another baby is believed to have contracted the pseudomonas virus at the Royal Maternity Hospital in Belfast.

Laboratory tests have yet to confirm the new case, but it is understood the child is very ill with symptoms of the infection.

Three babies have died from the outbreak to date.

The hospital's neo-natal unit remains closed as efforts to track down the source of the outbreak continue.
