Armed robbers escape after raid on cash-in-transit van
An investigation is underway after an armed robbery on a cash-in-transit van in Dublin.
It happened at the Donaghmeade Shopping centre on the north side of the city at 10.15am this morning.
Two men wearing balaclavas and carrying a gun approached two employees who were delivering money to an ATM.
The culprits left the scene with an undisclosed sum of money in a black 07-C-registered 4x4 in the direction of Clare Hall.
Gardaí in Coolock are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
