AA: Cost of fuel has risen €10 a month for ordinary motorists

The AA has said petrol and diesel prices increased sharply last month, costing motorists an extra €10 a month.

A litre of petrol now costs 154.9 cent, that is seven cents more than December, while diesel prices also rose sharply - up by 6.2 cents to an average of 153.1 cent per litre.
