Two held over Limerick gun find

Two men in their 40s were held in garda custody overnight in connection with the discovery of a gun in Co Limerick.

They were arrested after the search of a car at Ballincurra Weston yesterday afternoon uncovered what is believed to be a revolver.

The men, aged 44 and 45, are being questioned at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda stations, under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
