Man to be sentenced for rape of daughter

A 40-year-old Kildare man will be sentenced next month after he today admitted raping and sexually assaulting his daughter more than nine years ago.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to seven counts of sexually assaulting the girl on dates unknown between January 1, 2003 and March 21, 2006.
