The founder of Mad Pride Ireland, John McCarthy, has died.

The founder of Mad Pride Ireland, John McCarthy, has died.

He was 61, and had been ill for some time.

Mr McCarthy was well known throughout Ireland for his tireless campaigning on issues surrounding mental health.
