15,000 homes affected by power cuts in overnight storms

The ESB has said around 15,000 customers have been affected by power cuts as a result of the overnight storms.

The North West counties of Donegal and Sligo have been worst hit, with 9,000 customers affected, while almost 2,500 are without power in the Midlands.
