The Environment Minister Phil Hogan is meeting with the National Assets Management Agency to see how empty housing stock could be used for social housing.

Mr Hogan will sit down with the Chief Executive and Chairman of NAMA this afternoon to discuss if any of the 10,000 empty properties on the agency's books could be used to alleviate the waiting list for social housing.
