Gardaí release three in Limerick double-murder probe

Three people arrested in Limerick yesterday in connection with the murders of a man and woman almost a year ago have been released without charge.

The bodies of Des Kelly and Breda Waters were found at a house in the O'Malley Park area of the city on January 8.

A teenage boy, a teenage girl and a woman in her fifties detained in Limerick yesterday morning have now been released, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Two men in their thirties who were also arrested yesterday are still in custody at Roxboro and Bruff Garda Stations.
