Tanker radios for help off north west coast
The Coastguard service is assisting the crew of a tanker which has radioed for help off the north west coast.
It is understood that the captain of the vessel, which is transporting more than 55,000 tonnes of fuel, contacted the Coastguard to report cracks in the ship, and seeking advice on a port where it could undergo repairs.
The vessel is currently moored off Tory Island and its hoped Belfast port will be able to accommodate it.
